Our Evolutionary Hygiene Program
Our evolutionary hygiene program includes a comprehensive periodontal
evaluation and individualized treatment plan for each patient. This program
may consist of many therapeutic appointments as necessary to achieve
optimum oral health.
Initial Exam
Your initial visit will be a complete, thorough 1 ½ hour examination. It includes a full series of x-rays, a full mouth evaluation for gum disease and an oral cancer screening. We’ll analyze your bite, check for muscle tenderness, evaluate your jaw joint health and comfort, and check for clicking or popping of jaw joints.
We’ll take intraoral photos of every tooth so we can see fractures in fillings or other problems. To help in an evaluation of your bite and your smile, we take full-face photographs and make diagnostic models.
After this initial consultation we will have you come back for a half-hour consultation, in which we’ll go over all of our findings about your oral health and any problem areas that we see. We’ll explain our complete treatment plan, letting you know all costs up front. Together, we’ll decide how to proceed.
